Bigg Boss 5: Shockingly, Shanmukh gets nominated by half of the house!

This fiery episode of Bigg Boss 5 begins with the contestants still grieving the elimination of Nataraj Master. His elimination shakes up the atmosphere of the house, considering how unpredictable it is. We see Swetha, Jessie and Shanmukh conversing about how they should stop fooling around the house as they have entered the 5th week. Ravi, on the other side, contemplates how Jessie is acting immaturely with him. He also says that Jessie is exaggerating his overly defensive behaviour. 

As the next day begins, it is finally time for this week's nominations task. 

Bigg Boss makes all the contestants come to the confession room and have them nominate two players of their choice with valid reasons. The twist here is, once all of them are done nominating, Bigg Boss reveals the faces of the contestants because of who each one is nominated. 

Jessie gets nominated by Ravi, Vishwa, Maanas and Sreerama Chandra. Ravi gets nominated by Anee Master, Siri, Jessie, and Kajal. And while all others have their turns seeing who they got nominated by, Shanmukh's results shock everyone. Shanmukh gets nominated by a whopping eight housemates, i.e., Sunny, Vishwa, Lobo, Ravi, Hamida, Priya, Maanas, and Sreerama Chandra. 

Once the nominations conclude, the housemates disperse and start discussing how they got backstabbed both expectedly and unexpectedly.

Later in the day, Sreerama Chandra asks if Jessie can do a few chores, to which the latter agrees. After a while, when things get hectic in the kitchen, the captain asks Jessie to do a small chore. Jessie flips and makes a huge argument out of it. He also twists the narrative to his favour and tells it to his peers, Shanmukh and Siri. Things then get heated between the trio and the captain.
