The day 25 episode on October 1st began with Sohel extending apologises to Amma Rajasekhar for screaming at him and the later consoles the former. Everybody save for Avinash continued the 2nd phase of the 'Killer Coins' task. Avinash could not take part in the task as he was injured previously.  

The 3rd phase of the task was announced and according to it, the contestants had to increase their respective scores somehow. 

Amma asked Sohel to give back his coins which Sohel stole the last night from him. Sohel got confused with Amma’s words, to this, Mehaboob suggested him not to get trapped by Rajasekhar's plan and play according to his plan.  

Sujatha made use of her special 'switch coin' and switched her coins with Mehaboob who gathered more than 10 thousand points by that time. Harika, Amma Rajasekhar, Kumar Sai and Sujatha were then announced as the captaincy contestants due to their high scores in the 3rd phase of the task. Mehaboob got emotional with this while others pacified him. Later, Mehaboob in talks with Monal and Akhil tried to let out his frustration. 

The show even witnessed a quarrel between Sohel and Amma Rajasekhar. Rajasekhar was disappointed with Sohel and claimed that he broke his trust. Nevertheless, Sohel attempted to defend his actions, but Amma declined to heed to his words. 

In the 'Kasula Veta' captaincy task, the 4 captaincy contestants searched for coins and treasured them in their own baskets. Kumar Sai was announced the new leader of the house as he won the task by gathering the highest number of coins. He sported the captain band as other members cheered the ceremony.
