Vishal Krishna

Vishal Krishna (popularly known as Vishal) was born on 29th August 1977 in Andhra Pradesh but later shifted to Chennai. He is a Tamil film actor and producer. He is the younger son of film producer G. K. Reddy. Reddy is a veteran Tamil & Telugu film producer. Vishal did his schooling at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School and secured a degree in Visual communication from Layola College, Chennai. His elder brother, Vikram Krishna Reddy, who was earlier an actor under the name 'Ajay' and acted with Sivaji in Poo Parikka Varugirom, took off from where his father left and produced two films, Sandakozhi and Thimiru, with the main lead as Vishal. Vishal worked as an assistant to Arjun for the films Vedham & Ezhumalai. Vishal made his debut as the lead in the romantic thriller Chellamae (2004) and has delivered several hit films like Sandakozhi (2005), Thimiru (2006), Malaikottai (2007), Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai (2010), Poojai (2014), Thupparivaalan (2017), Villain (2017), Irumbuthirai (2018), Ayogya (2019), Action (2019) and Chakra (2021). He had 3 back-to-back hits with Chellamae, Sandakozhi and Thimiru, which all were dubbed in Telugu. Apart from acting, Vishal also has produced several films under the banner Vishal Film Factory
