Bholaa: Ajay Devgn's Remake Struggles With Low Advance Bookings

According to sources, Ajay Devgn's Bholaa has only sold over 24,000 tickets for its first day in three national chains, a low number for a film featuring a star hero.

Bollywood's much-awaited release, "Bholaa," starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role and also directed by him, is set to hit theaters tomorrow. This Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster "Kaithi" has garnered some concerning news, with reports suggesting that the advance bookings have not met expectations. According to sources, the movie has only sold over 24,000 tickets for its first day in three national chains (PVR, INOX, Cinepolis), a low number for a film featuring a star hero.

Despite the Sri Rama Navami holiday and Ajay Devgn's massive fan following, it remains to be seen if "Bholaa" can pull in a double-digit opening at the box office. Key roles in the action-packed film are played by Tabu and Amala Paul, and it will be released in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D formats. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms, Dream Warrior Pictures, Reliance Entertainment, and T-Series Films.
