Ajay Devgn is preparing for the release of his highly anticipated action film, Bholaa (3D), on March 30. The movie reunites Ajay with Tabu after the blockbuster success of Drishyam 2 and is expected to perform well at the box office. Bholaa has received a U/A certification from the CBFC, with a runtime of 144.49 minutes (2 hours and 24 minutes). The film is targeting a release on approximately 4000 screens across India, with 3D showcasing in national chains and 2D elsewhere. Bholaa's pricing strategy will be similar to that of Drishyam 2, with popular pricing. Bookings for premium formats opened two weeks ago, with all formats opening on Sunday, four days before the release.
As of Tuesday at 10 am, Bholaa has sold approximately 11,600 tickets in the three national chains – PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. PVR is leading the way with 6200 tickets sold, followed by Inox at 2900 and Cinepolis at 2500. The film is expected to achieve a final advance of around 35,000 to 40,000 in the three chains unless there is a surge in demand on the final day of bookings. Bholaa is expected to benefit from the Ram Navami holiday, especially in mass belts, resulting in a higher-than-usual walk-in audience.
