Bharata Varsha releases second single Amma Kadhili Vacche for Navaratri

The makers of Gopichand's Bharata Varsha have released Amma Kadhili Vacche, the second song from the historical action drama, on the occasion of Navaratri.

Shoolambha Amma's grand procession sits at the heart of the track. She is the goddess the people of the film's region worship, and the visuals follow devotees through elaborate rituals for the consecration of her idol. The crowd's devotion and joy carry much of the song's emotional weight.

A major highlight is the depiction of Durga's nine forms: Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kalaratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidatri.

Anudeep Dev composed the music with a strong devotional feel. Kalyan Chakravarthy Tripuraneni's lyrics praise the goddess's glory and power, and Skanda Veluvali sings lead, backed by a chorus. Gopichand and Ritu Varma appear amid the festivities.

Directed by Sankalp, Bharata Varsha is set in 642 AD. Srinivasaa Chitturi produces it under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. This song comes after the film's first glimpse and its first single, Veera Jayadheera.
