It seems like there is a lot of excitement in store for Bollywood fans, with the announcement of Hrithik Roshan returning as Kabir in YRF's War 2. While it was initially expected that Siddharth Anand would direct the sequel, it has now been confirmed that Ayan Mukerji will be taking over the reins.

According to a trade source, Aditya Chopra is strategically choosing the director for each film in the YRF Spy Universe. Ayan Mukerji's track record of delivering big hits and his ability to mount films on a large scale makes him the ideal choice to helm War 2. Additionally, his unique take on the genre is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the franchise.

Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand are also collaborating on their third project together, Fighter, which stars Deepika Padukone. The film is set to release on January 25, 2024.

It remains to be seen what other exciting projects Ayan Mukerji has in store for fans, but the announcement of his involvement in War 2 is sure to generate a lot of chaos. The film is set to follow the events of Tiger 3, which stars Salman Khan and is scheduled to release on Diwali 2023.
