Arijit Singh's 'Phir Se' from Dhurandhar: The Revenge enters Grammy consideration

Arijit Singh's song 'Phir Se' from Dhurandhar: The Revenge is up for Grammy consideration in the Best Song Written For Visual Media category. The singer shared the news on Instagram and thanked listeners for all their love.

Consideration is not a nomination. The track still has to pass the Recording Academy's eligibility checks and voting before the final nominees are named.

T-Series and B62 Studios entered it as part of their Grammy campaign. The campaign puts forward the full soundtrack album and several single tracks across categories such as global music, Asian pop, songwriting, rap, dance and electronic recordings. 'Aari Aari', 'Jaan Se Guzarte Hain', 'Kanhaiyya' and 'Jaiye Sajana' are among the other songs submitted.

Shashwat Sachdev composed the soundtrack. Aditya Dhar directed the spy thriller, which stars Ranveer Singh alongside Sanjay Dutt and R Madhavan.

Viewers at home will not have to wait long. Reports say the film gets its world television premiere on Star Gold on October 18 at 7 PM.
