Rana Daggubati's Aranya, directed by Prabhu Solomon, is likely to be released for Sankranthi after an indefinite delay due to the pandemic situation. During the lockdown period, many OTT platforms have come up with exciting offers to release the film, but the crew has decided on a theatrical release plan. In Tamil, it is titled Kaadan, and in Hindi, it is called Haathi Mere Saathi. It is a much-delayed film as the director took two years for its completion. Prabhu Solomon is known for directing movies like Mynaa, where nature is given prominence for the background.
Aranya is a forest-based project starring Rana Daggubati in its lead role and Vishnu Vishal playing the supporting role. The film promotes a good social message for humans on protecting and conserving wildlife and animals. Made on a big budget, the movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
