Anticipated Release Of 'Bholaa Shankar' Faces Legal Hurdle

A distributor from Vizag has taken legal action, seeking to halt the release of "Bholaa Shankar."

The highly anticipated worldwide theatrical release of 'Bholaa Shankar,' featuring Chiranjeevi and Tamannaah Bhatia and directed by Meher Ramesh, is set for tomorrow.

However, a distributor from Vizag has taken legal action, seeking to halt the release of the film. The legal dispute stems from the film's producers, who are also connected to the creation of the movie 'Agent.'

To elaborate, the producers received Rs. 30 crores from the distributor for distribution rights in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. Yet, they fulfilled their distribution commitments only in Vizag, leaving the Vizag distributor dissatisfied.

The distributor asserts that the producers had assured him a payment of Rs. 20 crores, either upon 'Agent's' release or before the launch of 'Bholaa Shankar.' Unfortunately, these assurances were not fulfilled, leading the distributor to take legal recourse.

Consequently, the distributor approached the court, seeking a temporary halt to the movie's release. The court is set to hear their arguments today and make a decision accordingly.
