Akhil Akkineni's recent film "Agent" had a disappointing performance at the box office. The spy thriller, directed by Surender Reddy, features Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead.

Sony LIV acquired the digital streaming rights of "Agent" and initially announced that the movie would be available for streaming starting today. However, as of the time of writing this article, the film is not yet available on the platform.

Concerned Akkineni fans reached out to the OTT platform on social media, and the streaming service responded by stating that the title is currently available and asked fans to wait for further announcements. Sources indicate that the movie is expected to be released on the OTT platform next Friday, May 26, 2023.
