A Helping Hand From Tollywood
Drastic rains over the past few days have wreaked havoc in Hyderabad. Hyderabad, the city of Nawabs, was never prepared for a rain riot like the one it has seen a few days back. Colonies in the city were inundated with rainwater. Roads have been damaged. The silt was brought by the flood, which cut-off commutation to some of the areas. People are slowly recovering from the rains but needed a helping hand to rebuild what was damaged. Tollywood came forward with a helping hand to spread the lost smiles in the lives of citizens of Hyderabad.
Tollywood, which is always ahead in providing the relief measures, took it as a responsibility to aid the government in helping people. Tollywood, who has recently come forward and donated generously towards the Covid Relief fund, is now back in business to help flood-affected people. Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Super Star Mahesh Babu both have donated a whopping amount of 1crore towards CM's relief fund. Jr. NTR and Akkineni Nagarjuna both donated a sum of Rs. 50 Lakhs. Young sensation Vijay Deverakonda and director Harish Shankar donated, Rs. 10 lakh and 5 lakh, respectively.
