Storyline

Karthikeya who failed to impress the audience with his recent outings 'Guna 369' and '90ml' has pinned all his hopes on this movie. On the other hand, Lavanya Tripathi recently scored a decent hit at the box office with 'A1 Express' movie starring Sundeep Kishan. The actress is playing the role of a widow in this movie. The promotional material of the movie hinted that the chemistry between the lead pair is going to impress the audience.

Karthikeya also played a different kind of role in this movie. He appeared as a village guy who works as a mortuary van driver. Written and directed by Peggalapati Koushik, Bunny Vasu under GA2 pictures bankrolled this project. Allu Arvind presented this movie. Though Karthikeya doesn't have a big market in the industry, as Geeta Arts got on board to bankroll this project, the expectations got increased. Jakes Bejoy composed tunes for this film.

He tries to woo her but Mallika files a police complaint against him. The twist in the tale arises when Balraju's mother starts having an affair which also affects his love story. What happens next forms the rest of the story.

Review

The overall premise of the movie is quite impressive. The story might have sounded well on paper but the director could have executed it more effectively on the screens. Despite having a few laughs here and there, the lack of entertainment become the major setback. The mother sentiment is showcased well and the climax part is the biggest plus point of this film. Despite having some slow and routine scenes, the strong and interesting climax made the movie worth watching

Koshik Peggalapati came up with a simple storyline for the film. Despite having a regular story, the director tried to bring freshness to the script with other characters in the movie and also the subplots. He also has a strong grip on emotions and handled the relationship between mother and son very well. Music by Jakes Bejoy is impressive. Production values are decent. The cinematography is too good. The dialogues are very entertaining.

The movie is an out-and-out Kartikeya's film. He carried the entire movie on his shoulders and delivered a terrific performance in the film. He went under the skin of the character and brought out his best performance. Lavanya Tripathi looked beautiful and also carried herself with elegance. Murali Sharma did an impressive job and Aamani made a strong comeback with this film and added more strength to the film with her performance. Srikanth Iyyengar is good in his role. Bhadram's comedy also worked out well

Verdict

The film has a different and unique premise with routine scenes but carried decent emotions and delivered a good climax.
