Allu Aravind

Allu Aravind is a Telugu film producer and the founder of Geetha Arts, a leading production banner in Telugu cinema. He is counted among the most successful producers in South Indian film, and audiences know him best for Magadheera (2009), Sarrainodu (2016) and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020). His biggest honour is the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award. His producing career goes back to Bantrothu Bharya (1974), followed by Subhalekha (1982), Pasivadi Pranam (1987) and Attaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu (1989). He went on to back Master (1997) and Annayya (2000), then Gangotri (2003), Bunny (2005) and Happy (2006). Jalsa (2008), Ghajini (2008) and Magadheera (2009) stand among his most celebrated titles. In the years that followed he produced 100% Love (2011), Sarrainodu (2016), Geetha Govindam (2018) and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020). His later projects include Jersey (2022), Pakka Commercial (2022) and Shehzada (2023). Aravind's work reaches beyond producing films. He is also a film distributor and businessman, and he co-owns an online streaming service as well as Kerala Blasters FC, a club in the Indian Super League. Across five decades of filmmaking, his banner has given Telugu audiences family entertainers, romances and large action spectacles. For his contribution as a producer, he has received two Nandi Awards along with the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award.
