Venky Kudumula

Venky Kudumula is a director in Telugu cinema. He is best known for three films: Chalo, Bheeshma and Robinhood. His work has brought him two nominations at the South Indian International Movie Awards, one for his first film and one for his second. Kudumula began his directing career with Chalo in 2018. That debut earned him a nomination for Best Debut Director (Telugu) at the South Indian International Movie Awards. He followed it with Bheeshma in 2020, a project he directed and also wrote, with credits for both the story and the screenplay. Bheeshma gave him his second nomination at the same awards, this time in the Best Director category for Telugu films. In 2025 he directed Robinhood, for which he also wrote the story. In 2026 he stepped into a new role as producer on Itllu Arjuna. He also holds a screenplay credit on Kinnerasani. Kudumula is a filmmaker who likes to shape his films from the page. He has a writing credit on each of the three films he has directed, and on Bheeshma he handled the story, the screenplay and the direction himself.
