Sonal Chauhan

Sonal Chauhan is a model turned actress whose screen career centres on Telugu cinema, with regular work in Hindi films as well. Before she faced the camera, she was crowned Femina Miss India and Miss World Tourism, both in 2005, and those titles remain her best-known honours. Fans know her best for Pandaga Chesko (2015), Legend (2014) and her first film, Jannat (2008). Jannat marked her arrival in 2008, and Rainbow brought her into Telugu films that same year. She tried Kannada with Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu in 2010 and went back to Hindi for Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap in 2011. Her strongest run came in Telugu. Legend arrived in 2014, Pandaga Chesko and Size Zero followed in 2015, and Dictator came out in 2016, and all four did well with audiences. In 2015 she also stepped into Tamil cinema through Inji Iduppazhagi. After that came Paltan in 2018, Ruler in 2019, The Ghost and F3 in 2022, Adipurush in 2023 and Dorod in 2024. Shera and Mirzapur: The Movie are on her list for 2026. Her years in pageants and modelling shaped a polished, glamorous screen presence, and she sings too. Having worked in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Tamil, she moves comfortably across several Indian film industries.
