Dedicated intelligence officer Shiva embarks on a mission to track down a psychotic serial killer who wreaks havoc in the city.

The pregnant wife (Saranya) of an honest police officer who is killed by the villain Al-Saleem (Manoj Bajpai) vows to bring up her son as a tough law enforcement officer. Their young son grows up to be Komarum Puli (Pawan Kalyan) and he is a role model to the entire police department. As a reward for the heroism with which he saves the PM’s life, he gets to form ‘Puli Team’ which runs independently of any external force. A missing case incident of inspector Hussain (Suryah) gets him to Saleem and that eventually blooms to become a battle

An impulsive youngster, who is furious with his mother, seeks assistance from a scientist for a way to become an adult overnight. His wish is granted and he begins look like a 28-year-old man. How will he deal with the complexities of adulthood? How will his relationship with his mother evolve?

The film opens when Madhumati or "Madhu" (Bhoomika Chawla) and Siddartha Roy or "Siddhu" (Pawan Kalyan) are born. Madhu's family is based in Konaseema in Andhra Pradesh and Sidhu's family is from Kolkota (he has a Telugu father and Bengali mother). As babies, Madhu and Siddhu meet in a shopping complex. Madhu and her father love each other dearly. Madhu's father wants her to marry so that the son-in-law can stay with them and his daughter will not leave her.

Kushi shows how the lives of two persons Siddhu (Pawan Kalyan) and Madhu (Bhumika) are entwined and how they fall in love and quarrel tooth and nail while still liking each other a lot. Both of them have to keep their quarrels aside and work together to help their friends Babu and Shanti to get married against Shanti's father's wish.
