<div>Vivek is an Indian film Actor. He mainly works in Tamil film industry. He made his debut with the Tamil film&nbsp;<span style="background-image: none; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">Manathil Uruthi Vendum</span>&nbsp;in the year 1987.&nbsp;<span style="text-align: justify;">Legendary director K Balachander has introduced Vivek as a script writer.&nbsp;</span><span style="text-align: justify;">He launched “Green Kalam Project” under the guidance of APJ Abdul Kalam. Vivek has planted more than 2.15 million trees in just three months.&nbsp;</span></div><div><span style="text-align: justify;"><br></span></div><div><span style="text-align: justify;">Vivek was honored&nbsp;with Padma Shri Award by the Government of India for his contribution to films in 2009.&nbsp;</span><span style="text-align: justify;">Apart from films he also appears in TV shows. He hosted several shows and interviewed famous people like&nbsp;</span><span style="border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-image: initial; outline-color: initial; outline-style: initial; text-align: justify;">Rajinikanth</span><span style="text-align: justify;">, AR Rahman and APJ Abdul Kalam.</span>&nbsp;He eventually had larger roles and a separate comedy track for comic relief, even in more serious movies. He has received four FilmFare Awards for Best Comedian.&nbsp;</div>
