He performed and designed wide range of dancing styles. He awarded two National Awards for "Best Choreography" and also two Filmfare Awards for "Best Choreography". Prabhu Deva is the son of Mugur Sundar a dance Choreographer for South Indian movies. He inspired by his father and took up dancing and started learning "Indian Classical Dance forms" such as Bharathanatyam as well as Western Styles.
