Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is a popular Indian film actor and producer who works in Telugu cinema. He was born to an actor and politician, Nandamuri Harikrishna and Lakshmi. He is the grandson of the legendary Telugu cine actor and politician, N.T. Rama Rao and younger brother of the popular actor Jr. NTR.  Although the actor comes from a very dominant family in films and politics, Nandamuri has managed to establish his recognition in the Telugu cinema industry and has played main roles in several films like Athanokkade (2005), Pataas (2008) and Hare Ram (2008). Nandamuri produces films under the N.T.R. Arts banner, Apart from acting.  Ram is best known for his roles in movies such as Athanokkade, Hare Ram and 118. Ram owns a production company N. T. R. Arts, named after his grandfather. He owns "Advitha Creative Studios", a video effects company, which provided special effects for movies such as Legend, Krishnashtami and Nannaku Prematho.  Kalyan Ram started his walk of life as an actor with Toli Choopulone (2003), produced by Ramoji Rao. His next film was Abhimanyu (2004), produced by Ashwini Dutt. Starting his career in the movies with two failures which did not discourage him.  In 2005, he created his banner, N.T.R. Arts, under the name of his grandfather NTR and produced Athanokkade, presented by director Surender Reddy. Kalyan Ram surprised the film industry and the public with this movie. It was a box office hit.
