Alia Advani was born on 31 July 1992 in Mumbai, India. She is born to Jagdeep Advani, a Sindhi Hindu businessman and Genevieve Jaffrey, a teacher whose father was a Muslim from Lucknow and whose mother was a Christian of Scottish, Portuguese, Irish and Spanish ancestry.  She is known professionally as Kiara Advani, is an Indian actress who mainly works in Hindi films. She has also acted in two Telugu films. After making her start in Fugly (2014), she played the real-life character of Sakshi Rawat, a hotel manager and cricketer M. S. Dhoni's wife, in Neeraj Pandey's commercially successful sports biopic M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016).  She got esteem for her performance in The Netflix Anthology film Lust Stories (2018), which marked a turning point in her career. She gained further success with leading roles in films like the Telugu political thriller Bharat Ane Nenu (2018), the Hindi comedy Good Newwz (2019) and the Hindi romance Kabir Singh (2019)
