To save his father's crime syndicate, Sakthi is forced to join the police department, but soon tables are turned.

On a mission to recover his dead father’s money, a race-car driver encounters a powerful gang, a precious diamond and a slave racket. Velu (Vijay) travels to Malaysia to confront a gangster named Koccha (Suman) who owes his dead father some money. He manages to steal a precious diamond from Suman and returns to India. However, Koccha is already on his heels. Complications further arise when Velu finds himself attracted to the gangster’s younger sister, Devi (Trisha).

A young man is on a revenge spree, even if it means putting his love on the line. Pughazh (Vijay) is a brilliant student who also tracks down baddies. He meets Janavi (Nayanthara) at a wedding in the village and falls in love. She takes him to meet her father JD (Prakash Raj) in Germany and Pughazh begins to target JD’s associates. Is JD the one he is really after?
