Kanam is a 2018 Telugu horror thriller movie starring Sai Pallavi, Naga Shourya, Veronika Arora, Gandhari Nithin and Santhana Bharathi. When an unmarried Thulasi gets pregnant with Krishna's child, the parents and relatives force Thulasi to abort the baby. Five years later, when Thulasi and Krishna get married, the family witnesses a series of mysterious deaths and Thulasi suspects it to be the work of the spirit of her unborn child.

Krishna, who wants a modern lady as his companion, is forced to marry Devi who is an old-fashioned woman. But unusual circumstances arise when he realizes that his spouse desires to become a heroine.
