Biography

<p>Rahul Khanna was born in Mumbai on 20th June 1972. He is an Indian film artist. His father was a Bollywood actor &amp; a politician, Vinod Khanna, his mother was ex-model Gitanjali Taleyarkhan, and his younger brother is Bollywood actor, Akshaye Khanna.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Rahul Khanna went to the prestigious New York film institute (Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and School of Visual Arts) before undertaking the film industry. He started off his career as an MTV India VJ in 1994. He was unworried with the film offers that were pouring in as he was enjoying his time as a VJ more than anything else.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>He made his trait film premiere in Deepa Mehta's 1947 Earth (1999), alongside Aamir Khan. He won several awards including the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. He has then appeared in Mehta's Bollywood/Hollywood (2003) and Wake up Sid starring Ranbir Kapoor and Konkana Sen Sharma.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Rahul's accepted Bollywood films include Elaan and Raqeeb and his international merits include The Emperor's Club with Kevin Kline.&nbsp;</p><p> </p>
