Biography

Harris Jayaraj is an Indian film Music Director, Lyricist and Music Composer. He mainly works in Tamil film industry, He also works in Telugu and Hindi film industry.  He has written scores and soundtracks, played music for many Tamil films as well as Telugu and Hindi films. He began his career as a keyboardist for music directors over twelve years including Rahman, Manisharma, Vidyasagar and Karthik Raja, he also composed beats for Television advertisements. He made his debut with the Tamil film 'Minnale'. He has received many awards such as six FilmFare Awards, SIIMA Award, five Vijay Awards for Best Music Director.
