Vijayshanti rejected Pushpa movie offer
Vijayashanti, was considered for a role in the movie Pushpa but she turned down the offer. Horse and buggy days heroine Vijayashanthi made her comeback in the film industry with the release of superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru helmed by the funtastic director Anil Ravipudi of F2 fame. In the past, Mahesh Babu and Viyashanthi worked together for the action-drama Koduku Diddina Kapuram in which Krishna Ghattamaneni played the protagonist. But after the release of Sarileru Neekevvaru, Vijayashanthi has made up her mind to stay away from the film industry.
The sources say that Allu Arjun and Rahmika Mandanna starrer Puspa was rejected by Vijayashanthi even though she had a crucial role to be played in the film. The reason for rejection seems to be the inclination of her interests toward politics. Though the details about the role are not yet known, her role is touted to be one with great substance. That is the reason the makers of the film Puspa consulted her. Allu Arjun starrer Puspa is helmed by Sukumar and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. The shoot of the film resumed in the think forest of Mareddumilli in Andhra Pradesh from 10th November.
