After his recent film "Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir" received a mixed response, versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi is all set to captivate audiences with his much-awaited Bollywood debut. The film, which has been eagerly anticipated for several months, has finally found its release platform.

JioCinema, the popular OTT platform, has officially announced that "Mumbaikar" will directly premiere on its platform on June 2, 2023. A teaser of the movie has also been unveiled, offering a glimpse into Vijay Sethupathi's character as a gangster who kidnaps a child. The story unfolds as we witness the challenges he faces and how he handles the intense situations. Additionally, the movie will be available for streaming in both Tamil and Telugu languages, providing a wider reach to the audience.

Directed by renowned cinematographer Santosh Sivan, "Mumbaikar" features a stellar cast including Vikrant Massey, Tanya Maniktala, and Raghav Binani in prominent roles. The screenplay for this film has been penned by Lokesh Kanagaraj, while HR Pictures and Jio Studio have joined hands to produce it. Salil Amrute and Ram Surendar have worked on the captivating music for the film, adding depth to its narrative.
