Vaarasudu/Varisu, the highly anticipated film in the crazy combination of Thalapathy Vijay and sensible director Vamshi Paidipally, is in the last leg of shooting. The film produced by leading filmmakers Dil Raju & Shirish under their production house Sri Venkateswara Creations is almost done with its shoot, except for the last schedule. The film’s promotions will kick-start from next month.
On the auspicious Diwali occasion, the makers have announced to release Vaarasudu/Varisu for Sankranthi, 2023. Sankranthi is the biggest festival in Telugu states, as well as in Tamil Nadu, thus the makers are enthusiastic to capitalize on the festival season. Vijay in the announcement poster appears in an all-black dress and he’s seen carrying a hammer. This poster is from an action-block.
The film’s first, and second-look posters which presented Vijay in the classiest best look garnered a massive response. The title and the posters indeed set high expectations. The movie billed to be a wholesome entertainer features a stellar cast, including National Crush Rashmika Mandanna playing the leading lady.
Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha and Samyuktha are the other prominent cast of the movie.
Vaarasudu/Varisu is being made on a lavish scale with grand production values and popular craftsmen are taking care of different crafts. Vamshi Paidipally himself penned the story of the movie, in association with writers Hari and Ashishor Solomon.
S Thaman renders soundtracks, while Karthick Palani is the cinematographer and KL Praveen is the editor. Sri Harshith Reddy and Sri Hanshitha are the co-producers of the film. Sunil Babu & Vaishnavi Reddy are the production designers.
