The Makers Of Paresh Rawal Starring Sharmaji Namkeen Recommenced The Film Shoot

Ever since the COVID-19 lockdown in Maharashtra got relaxed for the film industry workers. Most of the filmmakers have started the film shoots and are concluding the schedules as soon as possible. One among them is the filmmakers of late Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen. Rishi Kapoor played one of the lead roles in this film. But due to his sudden and disheartening demise, his role is now being played by veteran star Paresh Rawal.

As of now, Paresh Rawal has recommenced the shoot for some important scenes at a school in Goregaon, Mumbai. This film sequence also features Juhi Chawla and Satish Kaushik. The shoot of Sharmaji Namkeen is almost done, the makers claim that another week is sufficient to wrap up the entire film shoot, after which they can proceed with the post-production formalities. To pay a tribute to the late actor Rishi Kapoor, the makers are planning to release the film on the actor's birth anniversary on September 4.

This film is being directed by Hitesh Bhatia and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar in partnership with MacGuffin Pictures.
