The highly controversial film, The Kerala Story, starring Adah Sharma, caused quite a stir before its release. The filmmakers claimed that the movie was based on real-life events, portraying the forced conversion of Kerala women into Muslims and their involvement with ISIS. Despite the uproar surrounding its release, the film turned out to be a massive success, earning an impressive 240 crores nett in India.
