The Family Man Season 2 Makers Could Be In A Potential Crisis!

The makers of The Family Man season 2 are facing a legal crisis. Read more to know why.

Ever since the Family Man season 2 trailer made its way on social media, it has been a thriving sensation. But every good thing has its own drawback. Just like that, there have been some troublesome events that the crew of the Family Man season 2 are facing as of now.

Several netizens asserted that this web series displays "Tamil people in the bad light" and soon after the hashtag "#FamilyMan2_against_Tamils" began trending online. Due to this, trouble has increased for the crew as Rajya Sabha MP Vaiyapuri Gopalsamy, sent a written complaint to Information and Broadcasting Minister, Prakash Javadekar and endeavored a ban on it. In his letter, Vaiyapuri stated that the show portrayed Tamilians as terrorists and ISI agents. "Tamil speaking actress Samantha is shown as a terrorist having connections with Pakistan terrorists. This has hurt the sentiments of Tamil people," he addressed. He has asked the I&B Minister to stop the release of the series.

"The trailer of The Family Man 2 depicted Tamilians as terrorists and ISI Agents and having a link with Pakistan. Moreover, the sacrifices made by Tamil Eelam warriors were also wrongly shown as a terrorist act. Tamil-speaking actress Samantha is shown as a terrorist having connections with Pakistan terrorists. These descriptions have hurt the sentiments of Tamil people and Tamil culture and offensive against the Tamil community," stated an extract from the same complaint.
