Tamannaah and Gopichand's upcoming sports drama film, Seetimaarr, was supposed to have a theatrical release this summer. Although due to the unchanged situation of the already worse pandemic, there are rumours that the makers of Seetimaarr chose what almost all filmmakers are opting for these days.

The latest news about this film is that Seetimaarr will be releasing on the 10th of September as a festive special release on Vinayaka Chaturthi. Coincidentally, the makers of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's upcoming romance flick, Love Story, are also looking forward to releasing their film on the same date.

To describe the storyline of Seetimaar, Gopichand portrays the role of Andhra Pradesh women’s team Kabaddi coach and Tamannah plays the role of Telangana women’s team Kabaddi coach. The crux of the story forms when both storms clash and start an intimidating rivalry. Young and thriving Bollywood star Digangana Suryavanshi and Telugu Bigg Boss finalist Akhil Sarthak will also be seen in this highly-anticipated sports drama.

Seetimaar is written and directed by Sampath Nandi. This film is being produced by Srinivasa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen.
