Actor Siddharth, who gained popularity with hits like Bommarillu and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana in Telugu, is all set to appear in the upcoming Tamil-Telugu action romance film Takkar. Directed and written by Karthik G Krish, the movie features Divyansha as the female lead. The film is jointly produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal under People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts, in collaboration with Passion Studios.
On the occasion of Siddharth's birthday, the makers of Takkar have released the film's teaser, which gives a glimpse into the action-packed story of a poor boy and a rich girl who fall in love. Although the boy is a hopeless romantic, the girl, who likes him too, claims to be uninterested in the idea of love and marriage.
Siddharth's new look, with a beard under his chin, adds to the intrigue, while the lead pair's on-screen chemistry is nothing short of terrific. Although Siddharth is well-known for his lover-boy image, Takkar portrays a more rugged, badass side to the star. The teaser also confirms the film's release date - May 26 - in Tamil and Telugu.
Abhimanyu Singh, Yogi Babu, Munishkanth, and RJ Vigneshkanth play other pivotal roles in the movie, with Nivas K Prasanna composing the music, Vanchinathan Murugesan handling the camera work, and GA Gowtham in charge of editing. People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts have enjoyed successful collaborations in the past, with hits like Karthikeya 2 and Dhamaka under their belts.
