Initially planned as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, Suriya's ongoing 42nd movie under Siva's direction was supposed to mark his debut in Tollywood. However, the film is now being made as a straight Tamil flick.

Recently, a photo of Suriya posing with Tollywood director Chandoo Mondeti has gone viral on social media, sparking rumors that Chandoo may have met with Suriya at his Chennai office to narrate a script for a straight Telugu film. While an official announcement is yet to be made, Suriya fans are eagerly awaiting his decision.
