The power of a compelling story shines through in the latest Hindi film, "12th Fail," starring Vikrant Massey in the lead role and adapted from Anurag Pathak's novel of the same name. Inspired by the real-life experiences of IPS Officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS Officer Shraddha Joshi, this movie made its theatrical debut on October 27, despite facing competition from Kangana Ranaut's "Tejas."

Impressively, "12th Fail" managed to open strongly, collecting 1.1 crores nett on its first day, even with a limited screen release. The film garnered positive reviews from critics and gained momentum due to glowing word-of-mouth, achieving a remarkable 2.5 crores nett on its second day. These unexpected collections have left trade experts pleasantly surprised.

The film's success is only growing, and it is anticipated to maintain its strength during the weekdays. Notably, "12th Fail" is outshining Kangana's movie at the box office, once again affirming that quality content has the power to captivate audiences.

Written and directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, known for his association with Rajkumar Hirani in the past, "12th Fail" also features Medha Shankar, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Sanjay Bishnoi, and Harish Khanna in crucial roles. The film is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Zee Studios, marking a compelling addition to the Hindi cinema landscape.
