Siwet Tomar out of Rise and Fall Season 2 after physical fight with Shehzad Poonawalla

Rise and Fall Season 2 has lost one of its contestants within days of its premiere. Siwet Tomar is out of the show after a clash with Shehzad Poonawalla turned physical, and he was removed for breaking the rule against violence.

The trouble started during a task in which the Rulers in the Penthouse had to name the contestant they felt was least fit to lead. Shehzad picked Siwet, saying he blindly follows whatever Karan Patel tells him. Siwet was named the weakest decision-maker, which reportedly kept him out of the race for the Ultimate Ruler title. He hit back by accusing Shehzad of quietly asking for his support when Shehzad wanted to take on Swara Bhasker.

The tension rose again later in the episode. Siwet had earlier said he would not speak to Swara, but he was then seen talking to her, and Shehzad called him out for the change. A promo for the episode reportedly showed Siwet charging towards Shehzad while Swara stepped between them and told him not to hit him.

According to reports, Siwet grabbed Shehzad by the neck and pushed him down, leaving him hurt and his clothes torn. Physical violence is not allowed inside the Tower, and Siwet was removed from the show. Reports also say that Swara and Karan, who felt Shehzad had provoked the fight, walked out of the Tower with Siwet in protest.

Reports describe Shehzad as a political commentator making his move into reality TV with this season, and Siwet as a content creator who has already been on Roadies, Splitsvilla and The 50.

Hosted by Virender Sehwag, the show splits its contestants between the Rulers, who enjoy the comforts of the Penthouse, and those in the Basement, who have far less. With two strong personalities gone and two more walking out in support, the balance of power inside the Tower looks very different after just a few days. The show streams on Prime Video.
