Sidharth Malhotra and Karan Johar, who have previously worked together on successful films such as "Student of The Year," "Brothers," "Hasee Toh Phasee," and "SherShaah," are now collaborating on another action thriller titled "Yodha." The film, directed by Sagar Amre and Pushkar Ojha, is set against the backdrop of an airplane hijack and promises to be an edge-of-the-seat experience for viewers.
The team has already wrapped up shooting for the movie, and it is currently in the post-production stage. The film, which also stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna in key roles, was initially scheduled to release on July 7, 2023. However, according to exclusive reports from Pinkvilla, the release date for the highly-anticipated film has been changed.
Sources close to the development have revealed that the makers of "Yodha" wanted a better release date with a clear window, rather than releasing it amidst multiple other films at the box office. After contemplating various dates, the makers have finally locked in the release date as yet to be announced. "Yodha" is a special collaboration for the duo of Sidharth Malhotra and Karan Johar, as inside reports suggest that the film is an action thriller.
