The shoot for the movie Pathan starring Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham to begin in February. Shahrukh khan returns to the shoot after a gap of almost two years. He would be shooting for War director Siddharth Anand's out and out action film titled Pathan. The movie is going to be part of Yash Raj Film's 50 years slate. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone canned a few scenes finishing the second schedule of the movie. Director Siddharth Anand is a busy man these days who would be flying to Dubai with a 10-member team to finish the remaining part of the shoot.

Siddharth Anand's team would scout Dubai for 25 days for finding suitable locations for the shoot before the actual shoot kicks off in February. The unit will now be going for stylized action sequences. Deepika and Shah Rukh will be essaying the role of RAW agents, while Dimple Kapadia plays the role of RAW Head of the Department. Action sequences between John and Sharukh would be canned here.
