Sai Dharam Tej signs action drama with director Teja Kakumanu

Sai Dharam Tej has signed his next film, an action drama to be directed by Teja Kakumanu. Anil Sunkara will produce it under his AK Entertainments banner, and the project will be launched this month.

Shooting is set to begin in November. The makers are expected to make an official announcement soon.

The new film follows Tej's work on Sambarala Yeti Gattu. He has finished shooting for that film, which will release during Sankranthi 2027.

Tej and AK Entertainments go back a long way. The banner had earlier planned a film on the life of Sri Krishnadevaraya, with Veeru Potla attached as director, but that project was shelved and the reasons were never made public.

Keen to team up with the production house, Tej has now signed on for this action drama.
