Rashmika Mandanna says her husband Vijay Deverakonda turns "super dedicated and serious" the moment he walks onto a film set. The actress said this during an Ask Me Anything session on Instagram on Wednesday, after a fan asked what shooting Ranabaali with him was like.

She began with "Alwaysssss lots of FUN" before getting serious. Rashmika added that she learns a lot from Vijay every time they work together.

Ranabaali, a period drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan, puts the couple on screen together. Filming is complete. Sankrityan announced the wrap on social media with a clip of his crew, calling the shoot "130 days of madness".

The director has also shared a personal detail from the script. Writing on X, he said Rashmika's character carries his mother's name, Jayamma. He wanted her to be a woman who could inspire women today, even though she belongs to another time.

Away from the set, the pair recently explained why they kept their relationship out of public view for nearly eight years. On Shubhankar Mishra's podcast, Vijay said they met as colleagues, became friends and then fell in love, and that he never felt the need to discuss his personal life with others. Rashmika put it plainly: "Our relationship is not for entertainment. It is for us."

In a separate chat with Prakhar Gupta, Vijay called Rashmika the more mature one in the relationship. He said she tells him "I love you" 10 to 15 times a day and reminds him to say it back.
