Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has been performing impressively at the box office, surpassing most recent Bollywood releases except for Pathaan. Although the budget and final verdict of the film remain debatable, it is set to cross the 100 crore mark. This milestone would enable Ranbir Kapoor to surpass Hrithik Roshan in Koimoi’s Star Ranking, where actors are allotted points based on their films' performance in coveted box office clubs such as the 100 crore club and the 200 crore club.
Currently, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has earned 82.31 crores at the Indian box office, and once it crosses the 100 crore mark, Ranbir Kapoor will move up to the 7th position in the Star Ranking below Ranveer Singh. As of now, Ranbir Kapoor holds the 8th position with 800 points, while Hrithik Roshan occupies the 7th position with 900 points. With the film entering the 100 crore club, Ranbir Kapoor will gain an additional 100 points, bringing his total to 900 points, the same as Hrithik Roshan. However, given that Ranbir Kapoor's highest-grossing film, Sanju (341.22 crores), has collections exceeding Hrithik Roshan's highest-grossing film, War (319 crores), Ranbir will be ranked higher than Hrithik Roshan.
