Raghav Juyal pens emotional note for The Paradise co-star Nani

Raghav Juyal has shared a long, emotional message for Nani, his co-star in The Paradise. The actor, known to Hindi audiences for Kill, described Nani as a rare person who became his safe place without even realising it. He made it clear that his respect goes beyond Nani's acting and extends to the kind of human being he is.

In the note, Raghav admitted that the film business can feel noisy and uncertain, and that there were times he felt completely lost. Whenever he hit such a point, he said, Nani was there. He recalled hours of conversation about cinema, his career, life and sometimes nothing at all, and said he always walked away feeling lighter. Raghav credited Nani with helping him decide which films to pick and the sort of person he hopes to stay while making them. He signed off by thanking Nani for both guiding his career and quietly holding him together.

The Paradise is Raghav's first Telugu film. He plays Vikram Malik, the son of a powerful landowner and one of the main villains, a sharp turn from the lively, often comic parts he has played in Hindi films. According to reports, the Srikanth Odela directorial is set in 1980s Secunderabad and follows the Savaari tribe, a marginalised community fighting for citizenship and basic rights, with Nani playing Jadal, a man pushed into leading his people as violence grows.

The film opened to mixed reviews but is doing strong business. Reports place its worldwide gross close to Rs 100 crore within its first days, and it is reportedly the biggest opening of Nani's career. Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead, with Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni and Sampoornesh Babu in key roles.

The film continues to spark talk. Sai Kiran reportedly addressed criticism of the interval scene where his character is shot yet returns later, saying the film never shows him dying and that he wears a bandage over the wound in the second half. Separately, KTR reportedly announced he would watch the film in a theatre, his first such outing in many years, amid reports that Priyadarshi's political leader Shankaranna resembles BRS chief KCR.
