The highly promoted period drama, "Rudrangi," hit the theaters with much fanfare on July 7th but failed to make a significant impact at the box office, despite decent word of mouth. However, the film has now taken a surprising turn on the OTT platform, making a splash on Amazon Prime.

Starring the talented Jagapathi Babu in the lead role, the film has garnered praise for his exceptional performance. Alongside him, Vimala Raman and Mamta Mohan Das shine as the female leads. Directed by Ajay Samrat and produced by Rasamayi Balakrishnan on a grand scale, "Rudrangi" transports viewers to the 1940s with its breathtaking production design.

The decision for an early OTT release was driven by a lucrative deal from Prime Video, bringing the film to a wider audience and reviving its fortunes.
