Actor Pawan Kalyan is set to portray a rowdy character in the upcoming film "Ustaad Bhagat Singh" directed by Harish Shankar. The first glimpse of the movie was released recently, featuring Pawan as a police officer who appears to be both part of and against the system.
The teaser opens with a verse from the Bhagavad Gita sung by Ghantasala: "Whenever righteousness is threatened, unrighteousness is rampant, at such times in every eon I manifest myself." The promo then shows Pawan's character in action as a hotheaded cop. Towards the end, Pawan promises his performance will be explosive. "Ustaad Bhagat Singh" will be Pawan Kalyan's first release of the year, and a glimpse of the movie was revealed at Hyderabad's Sandhya theatre by one of Pawan's fans, Satish.
Director Harish Shankar expressed his appreciation for the positive response to the teaser in the theatre, saying, "I am overwhelmed by the love the glimpse has received. I have been eagerly waiting for 11 years to work with Pawan Kalyan again after 'Gabbar Singh.' The teaser and the film are a result of my passion and enthusiasm to collaborate with him. That is why I dedicate this glimpse to his fans."
