Shah Rukh Khan has been away from the movies since 2018 when Aanand L. Rai’s Zero was released. The film did not collect great reviews and SRK took a step back before accepting the new project. After three years, the actor is finally back on sets, shooting for an action drama with YRF, Pathan that also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
Apart from this, he is in discussions with Rajkumar Hirani for a project and has decided on one pan-india commercial film with Tamil director, Atlee. The update is that South actress Nayanthara has finally come on board as the female lead of the film. Talks between Nayanthara and SRK and Atlee had been going on for a while and the latest report is that she’s agreed to join the cast and has finished the paperwork as well.
The film will have Shah Rukh play a double role and no details on Nayanthara’s character have been revealed yet.
