The mass action entertainer Dasara starring Nani, which was released on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, has taken a flying start and has performed well over the 4-day extended weekend, as well as on working days. The film also benefited from a holiday on Wednesday and earned significant figures on its sixth day.
The movie has earned over Rs 100 Cr worldwide in just 6 days, making it Nani's first film to join the coveted 100 Cr club. The Srikanth Odela directorial venture has proven to be a smashing hit in both domestic and overseas markets.
Although Dasara marked Nani's pan-India debut, the movie opened slowly in other languages but is gradually picking up pace with positive word-of-mouth. Sudhakar Cherukuri, the film's producer under the SLV Cinemas banner, has reported that the movie is close to earning $2 million in the USA.
During the film's success function held in Karimnagar, Sudhakar Cherukuri presented Srikanth Odela with a swanky BMW car as a token of appreciation. He also gifted each team member with 10 grams of gold coins.
