Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy Trailer Unveiled

Natural Star Nani’s highly anticipated film Shyam Singha Roy helmed by talented director Rahul Sankrityan and produced on a large scale by Venkat Boyanapalli under Niharika Entertainments will have its theatrical release on December 24th. Today, the makers have released the trailer of the movie during Royal Event in Warangal in presence of huge crowd at University Arts College Ground.

The trailer gives insight into the film’s plotline and the characters of all the lead roles. It starts on a funny note with Nani as Vasu making efforts to make his first film as director. He resigns from his software job to take up filmmaking as a profession. Krithi Shetty is signed to play the lady lead. The latter half of the trailer is completely contrasting to first half.

We get to see Shyam Singha Roy who is a popular writer in Bengal in 60s. This man is in love with a Devadasi played by Sai Pallavi. There is some strong connection between Vasu and Shyam Singha Roy.

The story, narrative, taking and making are the biggest assets, besides performances of all the lead actors and technical support of all the craftsmen. Nani is simply incredible in the role of Shyam Singha Roy. His strength in dialogue delivery, body language and diction make a strong impact. Sai Pallavi appeared in an orthodox role and she has excelled in it. Krithi Shetty looked super-hot as a film actress. Rahul Ravindran and Madonna Sebastian are also seen in the trailer.

Sanu John Varghese’s cinematography is top-notch, while Mickey J Meyer beautifies the visuals with his terrific background score. Both together created different environment for Kolkata episodes. Editing by Naveen Nooli is sharp. While teaser created huge hype around the project, the trailer further increase the expectations.

The film has an original story by Satyadev Janga. National Award winner Kruti Mahesh and the very talented Yash master choreographed songs of the film.

Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma and Abhinav Gomatam will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

Shyam Singha Roy will release in all south languages- Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
