Tollywood star Naga Chaitanya is all set to make his grand debut in Bollywood soon with Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha.

Sharing a picture in army uniform from the sets of the film, the actor twinkled with his co-star and wrote, “Grateful #Bala #LaalSinghChaddha. (sic)” Aamir’s ex-wife Kiran Rao can also be seen in the image. After Venkatesh co-starrer Venky Mama, this will be Chay’s second time playing a role of a soldier of the Indian Army. He will play the main role in the film that is Aamir’s dream venture. Filmmakers resumed shooting for it after the second wave of covid-19 and predominant scenes are currently being shot in Kargil.


Laal Singh Chaddha is an Indian remake of the popular Hollywood film Forrest Gump which saw Tom Hanks in the lead role. Kareena Kapoor Khan plays the lady lead in the film which sees Mona Singh in a key role. Advait Chandan is directing the project that will hit theatres later this year. In Telugu, Naga Chaitanya has Sekhar Kammula’s Love Story, co-starring Sai Pallavi, up for release. He’s also shooting for Vikram K Kumar’s Thank You with Raashi Khanna. Shooting for the film was in progress in Italy before the second wave of Covid-19 in India. Further details will be released soon
