Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar came up with an idea that could be a viral sensation in the Bollywood industry. She is all set to launch the Indian version of the OG comic series, Archies.

It is confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Boney & Sridevi Kapoor’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor will be playing the Indian version of Betty and Veronica respectively. Zoya Akhtar also hinted at the possibility of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan playing Archie in this series.

Through this series, Zoya Akhtar will single-handedly launch three star-kids into Bollywood with a golden carpet. Further details on this Archies spin-off will be revealed soon.

Bollywood is no new to nepotism like this and it is greatly frowned upon by people who support struggling artists as star kids always have it easy. This is certainly a stinging revelation of the Bollywood industry that it promotes nepotism while actors with immaculate talent are massively ignored.
