Writer-director Karan Sharma is renowned for his latest project 'Maharani' starring Huma Qureshi. He was summoned recently by the Hindustan Times for an interview where he was made to address the hindrances he had to go through in his filming career. He initially confessed to moving to the big city with an aim of becoming a director, but it was a prolonged struggle for him since he had to begin his career from square one. He then stated, "I got a chance to assist in the films like Anubhav, Flat followed by Babar, and more along with scores of TV commercials."
He also directed several short films and like that, he was slowly nourishing his skill and career. The director is known for unique concept films like Madam Chief Minister, Flat, and Avrodh. Seemingly, he has a knack for working on films that are unpredictable and amusing. His recent project 'Maharani' gave him massive recognition and he was also acclaimed by the critics for his impeccable work. Showing much acknowledgment and thrill to his newly earned success, Karan Sharma said, "I am under the radar and have to keep on proving myself with each project."
